India's KIOCL, APMDC to form joint venture on iron ore mining, pellet plant
In an e-mailed statement late Friday, KIOCL said it has secured "access"to prospect for and mine iron ore deposits in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapurdistrict. Depending on the availability of ore reserves, KIOCL said it willbuild an iron ore beneficiation plant and a pelletizing plant at Anantapur,each with a capacity of 1.2 million-2.4 million mt/year.
